Description
This course is recommended for anyone involved in the application of pesticide pellets and granules, such as, potato fungicides and underpins the achievement of the PA6 assessment. This training course aims to give trainees knowledge and understanding in the principles of applying pesticide pellets or granules to land. It introduces trainees to the hazards and risks involved with pesticide operations and to comply with health and safety legislation. The length of training may vary depending on the objectives covered, the ratio of trainee/instructor and the ability and previous experience of the trainees.
