In autumn, 2005 the Braintree, Halstead & Yeldham and Haverhill & Lavenham Agricultural Training Groups merged to become Eastern Training Alliance. The groups have both provided training to agriculture and related industries since the 1970s and offered a wide range of quality course at cost effective prices.

Eastern Training alliance is a not-for–profit organisation run by the members. Our aim is to provide high quality, relevant training at convenient local venues for rural businesses.  The Group has a membership of approximately 160 local businesses, involved in arable, vegetable, fruit and livestock farming as well as horticulture, forestry, landscaping, golfing, agricultural contracting, grain trading, wine production and the horseracing industry.
