Description
This training course aims to give trainees knowledge, understanding and basic skills in the safe driving of a rubber tracked crawler and preparing for the DVLA Category H driving test. It introduces trainees to the hazards and risks involved with driving rubber tracked crawlers and to comply with health and safety legislation. Category H is required if you wish to drive a tracked vehicle that is steered by means of its tracks on the road. If you require a Category H license, you must first pass a test for a vehicle in Category B (Car). The length of training may vary depending on the objectives covered, the ratio of trainee/instructor and the ability and previous experience of the trainees. The delivery of training covers a mix of both theory and practical elements.
